Rush Hampton 61001 Mosquito Catcher Is Propane-free
If mosquitoes are keeping you from using your outdoor living area, you can fence yourself in with screens, or you can give a mosquito zapper a try. Zappers make those irritating noises when a bug is drawn in, though, and that sound can get old after a while. Why not try a "mosquito catcher" instead?
The Rush Hampton 61001 Mosquito Catcher is an odorless, quiet (no "zapping" noises), non-propane-powered way to thin out the insect population in your backyard. The unit is supposed to take no maintenance, be easy to move, and be safe around children. Non-intrusive attractor lights bring the mosquitoes over and a fan sucks them inside, where they are trapped (I guess it's up to you to decide what to do with them after that).
The device sells for less than $100 at Amazon where reviews are generally favorable:

We got the Rush Hampton model at the beginning of the summer (we have a pond behind our hosue and we get a lot of mosquitos) and it's working really well.
